Roadsense is a Clydebank based Driving School providing driving lessons by a local driving instructor in Clydebank and all surrounding areas.
As part of the driving test now the driving examiner may ask you to open the bonnet and identify items or mays ask you some simple show me tell me questions. During your driving lessons we will assist and prepare you for this element of the driving test. You cannot fail your test for not knowing the answers but we will prepare you so you have a good understanding.

If the steering becomes heavy the steering may be faulty. Before starting a journey two simple checks can be made. 1) Gentle pressure on the steering wheel, maintained whilst the engine is started, should result in slight but noticeable movement as the system begins to operate. 2) Turning the steering wheel after just moving off will give an immediate indication that the power assisted steering is functioning correctly.
Press the horn and listen (turn on ignition if necessary).
Apply the parking brake. When it is fully applied it should secure itself.
Warning light should illuminate if there is a fault with the anti lock braking system.
Your examiner may ask you to either follow direction signs like below or follow a route by name like diagram 1 or to follow a route of 3-4 turns like diagram 2/
We will train you up to deal with this element.
